John Tellyros and Dr. Gaurav Khemka have a combined experience of over 20 years providing actuarial services to SMSFs, with a particular focus on Actuarial Certificates. They were the first colleagues of Brian Bendzulla and helped him establish Bendzulla Actuarial as the largest certificate provider in Australia. John is joined by Dr. Gaurav Khemka who will provide substantial insight via his academic work.
John Tellyros has also specialised in actuarial valuation services for Law firms. He has 12 years' experience in areas such as defined benefit entitlements for matrimonial property splits, life interest calculations, and superannuation / economic loss quantification arising from personal injury.

In particular he leads TCW Actuarial's services for reports into the value of defined benefit entitlements for matrimonial property splits, life interest calculations and superannuation / economic loss quantification arising from personal injury.

Dr. Gaurav Khemka
Gaurav is our consulting actuary based in Canberra. He has a PhD in Actuarial Studies and Statistics, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. As an academic his main research area is on the quantitative analysis on optimal decision making across an individual's financial life cycle. Gaurav's consulting focus is on valuation of employee share options and long service leave liabilities, optimal retirement choice under both DB and DC schemes, and investment strategy.
